Give A Computer to School Project

I am 30 years old this year and I have a birthday wish to give 1,000 schools a computer. Please join me.

I am proposing a GIVE A COMPUTER TO SCHOOL PROJECT

I am proposing TV3, Family News, See San, Thai EcoTrade, Intel, Virgin Radio, Bangkok Post, Post Today, Central Group, Thai Post Office and Ministry of Education to gather donations for used computers; recycle working or non working computers and parts from all over the country.

Goal:
To collect at least 1 ton = 10,000 old computers and turn them into 1,000 new computers for 1,000 needy schools in Thailand

Timing:
1 November 2009 – 5 January 2010

Give:
Bring you old computer or computer parts, working or non-working to our donation box located at all Central Shopping Centers, Post offices, and participating government offices. We will collect them and recycle these materials and turn them into new computers.

Get:
Write a one-page essay describing why your school needs a computer, what you will be using it for and who will be maintaining it for the next two years and submit it to www.giveschool.com or fax it to 02-204-1384. We will select 1,000 schools to give away 1,000 computers with software and maintenance programs.
