What strike me this time is how stable I feel attending this event. I know exactly what I'm looking for and not wasting my time on what can't be done for my network. I stop thinking 'extras' and focusing on the 'wanted stuff'. It's the 3rd day today and I am already almost at a 100% coverage on the walk-thrus, deals and negotiations.

The seminars on this trip are especially useful. The notification of digital divide, integrity of branded entertainment, technology as a mean to the end are just some of the topics of our everyday conversation here. Content liberation on new platforms have enabled so many new creatives and creators to come on board the media scene, traditionally and non. It's inspiring to the old and new comers in this market.

More fun than acquisition is the idea of distribution and co-productions I have yet to explore on my own. The demand for new Asian content with the style and art direction me and my network of friends can offer is pushing me to fly out of this cage and test my new altitude.

Champagnes and Chardonnays later, I'm always finding myself nestled in the middle of some of the most influential people in this media world. These conversations and exchange of ideas strengthen me, mold me and allow me to discover my own path. They provide answers to my soul searching's purposes in life.
